Why SlabED exists
Optometry schools teach B-scan interpretation. Almost none teach en face analysis or OCTA — the two modalities that most change management decisions for AMD, diabetic retinopathy, RVO, and CSC.
Equipment reps fill the gap, but they teach their platform, not the science. The result: ODs interpreting en face scans without a systematic framework, or avoiding the modality entirely.
SlabED exists to fix that. Vendor-neutral. Clinically rigorous. Free for every optometrist.
Curriculum
19 lessons across 3 tiers: OCT Foundations, En Face Mastery, and OCTA Integration. All lessons are permanently free. CE certification targeting Q3 2026, pending COPE accreditation.
